I can't seem to get the latest version of Dnet up and running. I have checked
and rechecked both the Amiga side and the Unix side and can't find what is
wrong. What happens is this :
o Bring up Dnet on Amiga and connect to Unix machine. (Dnet -X -8)
o try to bring dnet up on the unix side by typing "dnet".
the dnet window closes and an fterm window opens up.
a few seconds later the fterm window closes and a dnet window appears.
a message about being unable to connect is printed in my shell window.
the opening and closing of the fterm window and dnet window is repeated
infinitely. I can only stop it by killing dnet on the Amiga and dropping
the modem line.
I have checked the dnet.servers file on both the Amiga and the Unix system.
I have tried it on two different Unix systems. I did run a previous version
on the Unix machine successfully in the past, and don't know of any changes
in the system since.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated.
