Pict Disks 11, 12 and 13 are ready. All three of them contain digitized pictures from Jonathan Hue. And the quality of the pictures is amazing. (Remember "fashion" from Pict3 or 4? Blows it away.) The pictures are done in overscan HAM mode. They were originally digitized by a slide scanner attached to a Sun in 4096*2800 pixel mode, so we're not talking Digi-View here! In other words -- be impressed. Take a look at these disks. You can get them from me at: ---------- Joe Larson 6121 St. Croix Ave. N. Golden Valley, Minnesota 55422 Disks are $5 or you can send me a disk and SASE. The disk should come with something on it, either something I can put on a future Pict Disk or else just for my home use (like a Fish disk I might not have or something -- anyone wanna send me "Larn" in a working state?) You can also pre-order if you like (the $5 route only, please!). When sending disks, please package them carefully -- we don't want damage. And always be sure I have full return addresses. Also, if you're on The Net, include your net address just in case -- I'm trying to keep track of people this way when I can. I should have another 3 to 5 disks out by the middle (or so) of April, so order now to provide encouragement! -Joe -- Rushdie: Wonderful! You're going to kill me. What a finely-tuned response to the situation. (What he should have written?)
