I am having trouble getting a custom 11-point font to work with VLT. The documentation seems to say that if I run ff with the -1 switch, then I can replace the topaz 11 font. But I try it, and VLT still comes up with the topaz 11 font. I even tried renaming my font as "topaz" and it still didn't work. How do I replace the 11-point font? Thanks.

The only way I could get the 11pt font to work was to edit the topaz 11 file direct- ly with FED. It still did not work... Until I realized if you run just about ANY application before VLT, or exit VLT and re-invoke it, it ALWAYS substitutes TOPAZ 8 instead of 11. So when I use VLT with my custom font (which I think is a great terminal), I reboot, and execute a file in my s directory which contains the following: ff -1 cd Terminals:vlt ; my terminal disk name run vlt And it works most of the time. I hope in the next release these problems will be corrected, because on my 1070 monitor it looks great. (Does anyone know why Commodore stopped making the 1070? It has FAR less perceptible interlace flicker than any of the 108x series or the 2020, and has blacker black, less glare, and sharper pixels. I love it.) +---------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Bob Richardson (or, for you UNIX buffs: richarr@nikola.cs.orst.edu) | | 220 NW 21st, Corvallis, OR 97330 503-758-5018 "We Never Open" | +---------------------------------------------------------------------+ | "Hey, what's that noise?
