I saw a game called "Bridge 5.0". Does anybody have experience with it? Is it harddisk installable? How good a bridge player is it (in both bidding and playing)? Does it multi-task? I am thinking about buying it, so any comment is appreciated. Owen

My advice is--don't. Looks to me like this was somebody's high school project. It's written in compiled BASIC. Multitasks - yes. Copy protected (not sure why) but I backed it up using Marauder II (not sure why). Claims to bid Standard American 5 card majors using Stayman and Blackwood. Maybe so. So far the only way I've found to get to a game contract is to bid it myself. There is NO WAY to redouble! I'm in the process of writing a Bridge program for the Amiga and thought I'd "check out" the competition, fortunately it's no competition at all. (My minimum standard is Grand Slam Bridge on the PC) You can't modify the bidding rules, the graphics suck, it is apparently written in BASIC so it plays slower than molasses in winter. I'm not sure what you mean, since the other 'parties' on the table do get
to bid a contract occasionally.
