I just got VLT 3.656 and I love it! The only thing I miss from COMM 1.34 is the phone directory. I admit this isn't needed too much in SLAC (Stanford Lineaer Accelerator ?), but it would make like easier for those of us who have to actually (shudder) dial in. This wouldn't be all that hard, just another item on the menu bars, one that can be accessed from both Ascii and Graphics screens. You could even save the numbers in the VLTprefs.dat file, which wouldn't get all that much bigger. Enough for now. BTW, I've been hearing that there are problems with the RAM in the 2500s, is this true? Is it a major problem? Or is it nothing to worry about. I'm getting mine sometime this week hopefully and I want to make sure I don't start out with major problems. Thanks for your help!
