I have also been using the Konica 10 meg removable with a CLtd controller on
a 3 meg A1000 with excellent results under both OFS and FFS and Blitzdisk.
You can also mount both and OFS and FFS disks at the same time and use CLtd's
clearscsi command and 1.3's diskchange command to move between them. The drive
has been very stable, running 24 hrs a day for about 1.5 years. I have only
had one disk problem in all that time ( because I rebooted during a write -
yes, I always watch the drive light now :-) .
A local community college near me just purchased 12 3 meg 2000's with the
Konica drives and Pacific Peripherals SCSI controllers. I'm going to set up
one of these drives with FFS this week. I'll let you know how this combo works
.
I'm happy with the Konica and CLtd combination and the disks are less than
$10...
