Re the APRIL BYTE IBM/AMIGA/MAC Graphics "comparison"...

Come on folks, lighten up. It's readily apparent that the "coverage" of the
3 machines' graphics capabilities was just another April First spoof in a
long tradition of such that BYTE presents to its readership with every April
issue (you wags who just said "every issue", hold it down!).

I mean, gee whiz, do you really think they would forget to credit a coverpage
image? Surely not, they haven't before; it must have been done as a joke.
And the words on the Amiga's "...degree of multitasking"
were a classic case of sarcasm and obviously meant so. The new feature of the
Genlock they mentioned, being able to digitize images, had to be for
comic relief or I missed something somewhere.

But the item that drew the most "yuk yuk yuk"s around here was the "Amiga"
generated picture on page 258. Great stuff! Those BYTE folks really know
how to tickle a rib.

So, cool it. This author guy named Robinson is a former SENIOR technical
editor of BYTE; he HAD to have had his tongue thoroughly in cheek.
