[comp.sys.amiga] Sidecar help

dennya@pnet02.cts.com (Denny Atkin) (04/06/89)

Hi. I suddenly find myself with the need for a light use PC-compatible.
I have and A1000 and can't afford to get a 2000 (at least, not one with the
power of my 1000--1.5 meg and 40 meg HD)... I'm looking at spending <$1000.
So it's either a PeeCee clone or used Sidecar for me.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here on the net had any experience with
the SideCar for the A1000? Specifically, will it work with an Insider RAM
board and a C LTD HD interface attached (I doubt it!)?

Also, will the new Janus 2.0 software work on the Sidecar? Anyone know?
Hazy?

Or, is there any way to use the 2088 bridgeboard in one of those new 2 slot
Zorro II boxes for the 1000? Half of the edge connectors would be hanging
off unused, for one thing. Has anyone tried this?
