[comp.sys.amiga] UUencode/decode

COIL%igl1@eng.ohio-state.edu (Stacy D. Coil) (04/11/89)

Hello,

I am looking for a copy of UUencode and UUdecode to run on a MicroVax II.
If anybody has a version that works, please send me a copy. Or I will take
a copy of the source code.

Mister C

You don't say, but I guess that if you have to ask, you're not running UNIX.

Regardless, you might try the ``new'' UU*CODE posted to
comp.sources.misc (Volume 3, Issue 51), which is available via
anonymous ftp from most any comp.sources.misc archive site, including
XANTH.CS.ODU.EDU (as /usenet/comp.sources.misc/volume3/nuudecode.Z).
It's fairly portable and is more robust than the original UNIX version.
