Is it possible to get new roms for 2090 controllers to make them into 2090A's? If so, where? -eric cosky InterNet: 8642420@wwu.edu ATT: 206-733-1331

There is no place to put the ROMs. The 2090 was designed before the autoboot architecture (well before), and the 2090A is a modified 2090 that can accept the roms (large modifications). -- Randell Jesup, Commodore Engineering {uunet|rutgers|allegra}!cbmvax!jesup

I got a 'product preview' of the A2090B at the Hannover Fair, and it is a half-size card with the auto-boot ROM's. Rumours say that a third-party developer has made a 'daughter-board' that could be put on the A2090, but that's nothing more than a rumour. The A2090B seems better anyway, since the daughter- board probably will make the A2090 take up more than one slot. Anyone knowing anything about price and availability?
