[net.general] EKG software wanted.

A friend of mine, James P. Kiely, Res. Eng. at the Harvard University
School of Public Health, Department of Nutrition 665 Hunington Ave.,
Boston, Mass. 02115-9915 (Phone 617-732-1307), asked me to put out the
following request for software:
"What I am looking for is software that can analyze electrocardiograms.
Specifically, I want software that can output R-R intervals given
digitized EKG input. In addition I would like software that can
differentiate between normal beats and abnormal beats (VPB's-ventricular
   premature beats)."
Jim told me he was not concerned about what language the code is written in
as he will obtain the necessary compiler. If you have anything that seems
to be close you might either contact Jim directly at Harvard, or you can
send me your address and phone number and I will pass it along to him.
