[comp.sys.amiga] CHIP/nonCHIP: How to tell?

utoddl@ecsvax.UUCP (Todd M. Lewis) (04/13/89)

[this is probably a dumb question, but here goes--]

Given a pointer to some object, how can I tell if that
object is in CHIP memory? I would like not to hard-code
boundary addresses for known configurations of memory, but
would prefer some general method that will work with the
newer chips.
  Email is fine.
C with maybe a comment is preferred.
  Thanks is in advance.
  I am in a loop...
