I am working for a video production firm doing graphics using the amy. We do a lot of cable tv work so the 1300 genlock just doesn't cut it. Anyway I have seen some stuff about the Super Genlock(I can't remember the name of the manufacturer just now) and the NewTek Toaster. Has anybody seen tape from either or both of these? If you have maybe somebody could drop me a line and tell me about it. How was the quality? We have a digital effects generator so that part of the Toaster is not that important, but would be nice if the signal was as good as the other one. Thanks in advance Ben

Hey there, you. Yes, you with the genlock. Do you like it? What brand is it and which amiga do you have? I'm thinking about getting a genlock. Amazing Computing did a review last year of the AmiGen, ProGEn and SuperGEn. I'm leaning towards the Pro Gen because 400 bucks is the maximum i want to spend, but I'd shell out a little more for the right reason. Your help is greatly appreciated. Oh, yeah - what software do you use most with your genlock? Why? Thanks in advance. Email will be fine. I'll post a summary if enough responses. But if you want to post anyway, don't let me stop you.
