I have a two year old daughter whom I believe would benefit from an early introduction to computing. Very young children often have the mental agility to do things that exceed their physical agility. A moments thought will convince one that the ability to draw a picture requires considerable motor coordination. This brings me to a search for computer programs which have been designed for the entertainment or education of very young children. I have seen an ad for an Apple cartridge which allows the miniature hack to construct Sesame Street's Bert and Ernie from predrawn body parts. However, the ad seems to advise that this is still for the child four and older. I would be interested in the reaction of those who have used this or other such programs with younger children. Or perhaps the input will be to save your money and be patient. If there is sufficient interest, I would of course summarize the results of this search for tiny tot CAI.
