Hello, all... I'm confused a bit about the AMax Mac emulator that's been previewed here & there. Everything I've seen mentions that you must purchase your own Mac ROMs from somewhere else. Well, where do you get the ROMs? Is it a set of things? ...or do I get several of one thing? (How many?) Where would I get them & what would I ask for? Help...I'm confused. Thanks........................................<<<<< Amiga Amy >>>>>> | //| ' _ | Amy D. Macintosh 128K ROMs are available from several sources, according to the last time I leafed through an issue of Computer Shopper magazine. Newer Macintosh ROMs use privileged mode instructions, so I hear, so those wouldn't work properly. Apple has recently lauched a campaign to try to dry up the gray market sale of Macintosh ROMs. Apple is forcing dealers to take entire motherboards as parts stock rather than individual parts, so buy now while the buying is good.
