has the A2024 actually been released??? i've seen stuff about them in all the magazines, and i've seen pictures of the Moniterm 19" unit sitting on A2000's running everything from Dale's X stuff to AMax..... However, I CAN'T afford the Moniterm.... So, is the A2024 going to be released... IS it released??? Does my local dealer have to shoot at commodore Canada to find out if they have one??? Oh yeah... I have an A1000.... YES I KNOW that means i only have 512K chip mem, and it means that its highly unlikely that I'll be able to have a truck load of screens up... however, unless i'm badly miscalculating (or badly misinformed), I should be able to have a hedley workbench up, and still have 2 640 by 400 2 color screens hanging around as well... (and have a whole 60K of chipmem left (get the feeling that i'll be doing a LOT with sound and graphics after this???)) :-) Incidently, is their any likelihood of a version of intuition that can swap displayed segments of display into fast mem to free up chip mem??? (as in say you have a screen thats at the back, with a couple of windows on it) would there be a way to have that memory swapped out to fast mem and tag the screen as undisplayable until it gets swapped in.... something like this would be perhaps useful for 1.5 ... :-) JpC -------------------------------------------------------------------- Jonathan P.
