>Can anyone out there recommend a _good_ spreadsheet for Amy? I've >been trying to use MaxiplanPlus (version 1.9B; supposedly the >absolute latest) and getting gurued regularly. It's ridiculous I have been using SuperPlan from Precision Software (the Superbase people) for the past 2 months and I am very pleased with it. It is actually an updated version of Logisitix, a spreadsheet that was released about 2 years ago. SuperPlan is an "Amigatized" version with full support, pull-down menus, etc. It has an extensive macro language, and loads spreadsheets created with Lotus (though it doesn't do formula conversions), CSV, DIF, and it's own Superplan format. It has it's own print drivers or you can use your preferences driver. It has a nice graphing package included it along with it's own set of fonts for it's graphs. I've used it to create graphs for technical papers. I have a friend who has MaxiPlan, and Superplan has much fewer bugs. I've never had it crash on me. It needs 1 meg to run on. >I use the IRR function quite a bit, and in Maxiplan, it locks the Superplan has IRR, NPV, FV, PV, and PMT financial functions. One annoying thing is that it is dongled protected, but an unprotected version can be purchased with warranty card for additional $10. It lists for $150, but I've seen advertised for around $100. Overall, it's a very solid program that does a lot of things. Recommended. -Bill whirt@cup.portal.com
