Someone asked how to formulate an emacs-pro file for MEMACS to set the keypad keys to do something. I recently received a sample emacs-pro from someone that has keypad and Help keys encoded in emacs-pro as: Set-key k0 foo Set-key Help bar where foo and bar are a string of control characters that are entered by editing the file using MEMACS and using the ^Q (quote-char) to enter the literal characters as needed. Thusfar I cannot recall anything in this form that sets the value of a shifted or a control-qualified function key. Is there something? I believe that the execute-file has a different format that instead of including the appropriate control characters, instead you use the names of the functions you want to execute, on separate lines, as though everything was entered on separate entries beginning with ESC x. If I'm incorrect here, please feel free to enlighten me (and the rest of us). The emacs_pro and the execute-file documentation in the enhancer doc is sadly lacking (examples woulda been helpful). The Amiga Companion update (which will be in the Second Edition) does include a MEMACS tutorial, but these last two topics are not mentioned... if anyone can enlighten me, there is still (a little) time left for me to get something in there about these two (execute-file and emacs_pro).
