I have a deskjet. It works in text. It does not work in graphics. I have tried for two months now to get this thing to work in graphics. No one, I repeat, no one, seems to have any trouble with this printer but me. I have tested another deskjet with my computer. The same error comes up. I tested the deskjet with another printer driver used by a person who has had success with it. It does not work. Same error. I have replaced the printer cable. Same error. What is this error? Whenever I print out multiple pages of graphics in one dump, all pages after one after shifted down by two lines. Page two is shifted down two lines, page three is shifted down two more lines, and so on. I have watched my printer closely while this has happened. It loads in the first page, prints it. It loads in the second page. Then, it waits. Then, it moves the page down two lines, and begins printing. Yet, it does not do this for page one. Only on successive pages. I have gone through every thing I can think of. I have the dip switches in the factory position. I tried it with switch 8, the perforation key, enabled and disabled. I have the 1.3 printer driver, and the printer device installed in it. I have tried printing 60 lines a page, which was HP's advice, I have tried printing three lines a page. Same error. I have tried everything that I have ever heard of. I have tried all of the suggestionssent to me. (Thanks to those of you who responded!) Nothing. What bothers me is the fact that no one else seems to have this problem. It seems like I'm missing something really, really basic, and yet no one has any idea what it could be. The printer is moving the document down two lines AFTER it loads the page. Is there any way I can stop this? I am at the end of my rope. Either this printer prints out multiple graphic pages successfully, or I'm building an atomic device, driving out to Commodore, and taking whoever happens to be there with me. Please, please, save me from my fate!!! Somebody must know the answer to this problem! It can't be that difficult to solve! Any response greatly appreciated. Russell Williams it works fine.p A p.p.s. Could it be the power supply? I haven't replaced that yet!

I accidentally deleted the first p.s. What it said was that if I print out each page as a seperate job, it works fine. No additional spacing. Also, I have the kickstart eliminator. Until my ROMs get here next week, I only use kickstart 1.2 with my 1.3 disk. It seems incredibly unlikely, but could that be my problem? Russell
