I have just purchased a Commodore A2300 genlock, and I have a question about the quality of its composite output. The composite output of the genlock looks worse than the monochrome composite output from my A2000. Is this normal? My testing was with the genlock in computer only mode with and without an external video signal. The same cable was used to connect the monitor with the genlock and the monochrome composite jack on the A2000. I also tried turning off the color of the moniter, and the genlock still looked worse. The RGB output of the genlock looks fine: as good as that from the A2000. Any comments would be appreciated. Is there something wrong, or is this the best I can expect? Thanks.
