[comp.sys.amiga] HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPP!!!

jdutka@wpi.wpi.edu (John Dutka) (04/26/89)

I've just installed ARP V1.3 with the ArpInstall program, but I didn't
install the arp.library or the other file. Now, when I boot up my GVP
with my boot disk, all I get is an error code telling me that I need
arp.library v39...
And if I try to mount the drive from another source, it mounts, but when I try to
to cd over to the drive, it says CAN'T FIND DH0:
I've tried all posiible mount combinations, but I can't seem to access my hard drive
drive. Do you know of any other way I can access the hard drive and bring things back
things back to normal without reformatting the hard drive?
Oh, by the way, I have Kickstart 1.2, and WorkBench 1.3

HELP ME! I need to use my Amiga and hard drive for project work due rather
soon, so ANY help will be tremendously appreciated!!!

Try installing the arp.library from the libs directory of your arp install
disk onto the disk you have installed arp onto (put it in the libs
directory of this disk also). This should fix the message saying it needs
arp.library v39...
The other file you left out installing is probably the arp shell.
This is quite a nice shell and you may like to use it...
Read the docs that come with arp 1.3
