I am having a terrible time going beyond DBW VT100 v2.4 861214. Upon trying
V2.6 and V2.8, neither works correctly. I do extensive Kermit work, and this
is where I run into trouble. As I recall, the Kermit BYE (both A-B and the
menu selection activating it) cause the machine to lose its proverbial cookies.
I like the V2.6 requestors (sp?) for filenames when doing transfers, but
after it is done once, all menu options disappear. For my system, I guess
I'm lucky the close gadget is merely not displayed, but is still functioning.
Environment:
Amiga 1000
original Amiga monitor (not sure of the numbers for it, or that it would make
a difference, but I thought I'd include it for completeness)
old style (to be read "large" compared to today's) df1:
512K RAM (internal 256K plus usual expansion 256K, i.e., all CHIP)
ADC Phone-Modem (this shouldn't have anything to do with it either, but...)
DMP-100 (Radio Shack) (ditto.)
KickStart { 1.2, 1.3 }
WorkBench { 1.2, 1.3 } (always used the matching WB, i.e., never 1.3KS and
1.2WB)
