I just bought Lords of the Rising Sun from Cinemaware. It is truly an amazing game. However, the manual leaves something to be desired. Are there people out there who have figured out how to siege a castle and to do combat in the battle field? Please e-mail. I recommend this game for those who love war, board, and modest action game.

I saw this last time I was in the store and it looked great, but I passed on it in favor of a game based on Tolken called "War In Middle Earth". Could someone tell me what Lords' is like when actualy played? War' has very impressive graphics and digitized sounds, and is a quite enjoyable blend of adventure and wargame. Battles between people (and not armies) can be "viewed" on the ground level. Very impressive. It is a bit glitchy, though. From what I can tell, it is a very faithful following of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I have found only 2 diferences so far. However, there are many diffenent approcahes to winning available. T.E.D.
