From previous net postings, it seems that the update to the Janus library has now been officially released. Can those of us who do not plan on buying the 286 BridgeBoard obtain the library update? I too would appreciate whatever glimmerings of light may be generated by this
inquiry.

I have been writing some small utilities for bridgecards using Benchmark Modula
2 and recently the A68K assembler. Unfortunately, because I am using hardwired
memory address's for the bridgecard base my utilities only work on a 1 Meg
machine. I have tried to collect all the technical data I can, but I still
haven't found ANY references to the offsets to Janus.Library. Could someone
please post some info about how I can either access some functions within
Janus.Lib, or at least locate the bridgecard in various machines. If I can get
enough communication going between the two computers I plan to create a special
vertical market operator console to be used for security purposes.

In response to the questions regarding Janus 2.0, Commodore intends to release a standalone software product. We are currently working on revising the manual and expect to officially release it as a product late June or early July. I hope this has been of some assistance. John

I guess CBM has to let the folks who buy the AT Bridgeboard have exclusive bragging rights for a while. I have a Sidecar, so they can't get me to buy an AT Bridgeboard just to get JANUS 2.0. How long do we have to wait to buy just JANUS 2.0 ? .....BJ
