I just finished catching up on some news (2 weeks behind... WHEW!) and found it kinda amusing to see the people wholesale flaming Bob Page because of one simple X. People.... GET A LIFE! Bob has been busting his [ng]uts (think egrep pattern) getting the binaries and sources groups working fine.... and if you don't have SHAR or UNSHAR to get rid of the X's then use an editor... I can't think of an editor on the amiga, or VMS or Unix that doesn't have amacro facility that will deal with the X's (heck CygnusEd is great, just use the region block feature..) Anyways, I have another reason for thanking Bob, he greatly helped me out by getting my bitnet redistribution of comp.binaries/sources.amiga working. he didn't have to... BUT HE DID!!!! and thats the mark of a good moderator... thanks Bob for ALL that you've done for amiga news services Usenet or (as in my case....
