The combined efforts of the U.C.L.A., U.S. and Canadian Snail services have produced the most bizarre mail delivery I have ever seen. We have just received a letter that is from the Powell Library at UCLA and is addressed to Academic Computing on that very same campus. The address makes it quite clear that the letter is simply UCLA campus mail and is as follows: Perspective Office of Academic Computing 5628 Math Science Addition CAMPUS our address is: Academic Computing Services University of Saskatchewan SASKATOON, SASK, S7N 0W0, CANADA. :-) Notice the resemblance? :-) We have had mail delivered to us that was intended for a different department, I have even seen mail addressed to Computer Science here but which gave the province as ALASKA instead of Saskatchewan but I think this one really gets the prize! Pete Hardie PS. someone might pass on to the Powell Library, UCLA that a phone call usually works a lot faster - better still, use USENET!!!!!!
