| [-------------------------------------------------------------------------]
| I just got ahold of a Conner CP340 SCSI drive via a liquidation sale. I
| couldn't obtain any info on it (or fact sheets) from the vendor...

Try contacting Hamilton-Avnet they distribute Conner drives. Next try
calling Conner Peripherials at:

       (408) 433-3340 (San Jose CA)
       (617) 660-1088 (Boston -- I talked to these guys, they answered
                                   all my questions immediatly.)

| Could some kindly Conner CP340 owner out there please give me some info on it
| such as # of cylinders, blocks per track, # of heads, etc.

Sorry can't help here, I have the CP-3100. But the phone call should get
you the info you need.

| Also the drive has a row of jumpers on the front of it as in:
|
| o o o x o
| o o o x o
|
| 1 2 3 4 5 o = pins x = no pins (clipped off)
|
| I was able to determine that the two pins in "column 5" are for a drive light
| led. What are the others for?

The CP-3100 has these too, all the CP 3100 tech manual has to say about
these is that the pins in column 5 are really pin 1 and pin 2 and
that they are for driving a drive activity led (I have the Amigas front
pannel led hooked up here). The other pins are labled as providing
a serial in/out capability.

| On the bottom of the drive (logic board) there is another set of jumpers as in
:
|
| o o E
| o o
| o o
|
| The "top" row is labeled "E" on the board. Again any idea what they are for?
| Or can I just ignore 'em.

These are the SCSI ID number jumper pins, if there are no jumpers attached
this will be drive 0 which is DH2: (or unit = 3 in the AmigaDOS mountlist).

There should be an additional couple of pins (on the CP 3100 its near the
power connector) that may be labeled E4, this is for enabling SCSI
parity.
