For what it's worth ... I have several VAX/VMS systems at my office (VMS 4.7 and 5.1), and the Handshake V2.12a program on the Amiga operates better with DEC's editors than does DEC's own VT2xx and VT3xx terminals. Since I often connect my Amiga to DEC-20 and to UNIX systems also, it may behoove you to know that if you select "DT80" as your "terminal" (re: either termcap or terminfo) instead of "VT100", performance is greatly improved, since the DT80 termcap/terminfo represents the Datamedia DT80/1 which is the most superior "VT100" clone on the market (doesn't even require the padding that all DEC terminals do).
