I just got a flier in the mail today from the HUNTER GROUP inviting me to the World of Commodore Show in L.A. on May 19th - 21st! Since I live in San Diego I ought to be able to get there no problem. Now lets see if I run the savage benchmark using the inline 881 option on my 2500 at 14.3 MHZ and put my nose near the disk drive, the worm hole effect should propel me back in time far enough to .... :^) -Roger

Since >I live in San Diego I ought to be able to get there no problem. Yea, I got mine today too. I heard at the show that the Hunter Group got the entire list of Amiga owners from Commodore (all the ones that sent in those little registration cards: mine says 1000, probably meaning Amiga 1000). Anyway, NOBODY at the show had never received the Announcement or the $1.00 coupon. I haven't been very nice commenting on the AmiExpos, but the Hunter Group organization clearly beats everybody for "lousy" promotion. I know quite a few exhibitors that were pretty upset because of the low turnout. -- Marco Papa 'Doc' -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= uucp:...!pollux!papa BIX:papa ARPAnet:pollux!papa@oberon.usc.edu "There's Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Diga!" -- Leo Schwab [quoting Rick Unland] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

I kept asking around as to when the show was going to take place and the replies I kept getting were, "Look in any magazine for the Amiga." I finally found the anouncement two days before the show. By then it was too late as I has other plans.
