Well, I already got one fine-working mountlist. The disk-operations with my BBS sped up about 30 %, and that quite well, I think. (It's not so easy to keep BBS with two 880 kb drivers and 1024 kb memory.. I just wonder that how I had albe to keep box only in 128 kb with my C-128D!!!) Well, my box is made with basic, and I think that it's still is most powerfull box in Finland witch run in Amiga. (Here is few BBS-PC! box's, but I DON'T like that kind of software..). Hmm.. some facts about my box: Lenght: about 100 kb in basic.. AC/basic didn't work with my code... (???) Using memory when it's run: about 950 kb (yeah, messages are in ram-disk..) File area: xmodem, soon xmodem-crc too. (880 kb for files..) Basic can just and just run with my SupraModem 2400, but sometimes it can't output information at 2400'. Well, that's all of boring info-part. In fact, I'd like to know, am I "The Last Basic-BBS-sysop/Amiga in EartIf What kind of box's are there in USA, Germany, England...? Here in Finland, in fact in Tampere, are four real hacker-box's (Home made software and so on.. One sysop here uses Vic-20 in box and another uses Dragon 64 and OS-9.. yeah, really hacker-style, don't you think...?!). BTW, is it possible to use FastFileSystem-formatted disk as boot-disk? Obviously not... Sorry about those thousands of "language-errors". English is not made for me. -- ! /// Juha Tuominen ! Sysop of ! The Amiga Project ! !__ /// Mail: po87553@alva.UUCP ! The !
