You know your hard drive has REALLY crashed when it makes a nice
whining noise and then hangs both PREP and FORMAT. Considering the fact
that this is a new hard drive (1 month old) I'm NOT a happy camper. So
I'm curious to know how reliable the 2090A cards are. Either it's the card
or my drive is defective. As soon as I get the time I'll pull out the drive
and the card and let my dealer figure it out but still.... it's very
annoying to be forced back to floppy usage.
Are the other comp.sys.* groups so full of hard drive questions/problems
as this one is?
