Well folks, Bob and I got this set up a couple of months ago, but I wanted to make sure that things were working (to say nothing of the fact that I've been busier than a one armed paperhanger in a wallpapering tournament...) _A-N-N-O-U-N-C-E-M-E-N-T_ Attention Bitnet amigoids, are you sick and tired of not getting any comp.sources.amiga and comp.binaries.amiga, or getting them 6 months AFTER they were posted by Bob Page??? Well, thanks to the genius of Bob Page, and my wonderfulness. :-) AMIGA-L at uregina1.bitnet announces that it is adding full distribution of COMP.SOURCES.AMIGA and COMP.BINARIES.AMIGA to its current distribution of comp.sys.amiga and comp.sys.amiga.tech. The sources and binaries groups are provided direct from Bob Page and generally make to bitneters with 24hrs of bob posting it. The sys.amiga and amiga.tech groups are the familiar Steve Goldsmith distribution that many of you may be familiar with (digests of all messages...) to get the distribution, just Email me... addresses are in my .sig note, if i start to get a lot of joiners, i'll attempt to get some peer distributions set up for the East coast of the USA, and for Europe (Sorry Europeans, I can't let you join due to network load problems.) As a comment primarily to VMS system users, before you join, make sure that you have enough disk space to beable to receive MAIL, as thats how the Binaries and sources arrive... if I get bounces due to disk space problems, you're S.O.L. (I don't have disk space for archiving yet...) any more questions??? well, just email me.... (AND DON'T BUG BOB PAGE, the bitnet side of things is my problem, not his... ) JpC -------------------------------------------------------------------- Jonathan P.
