[Note the Followup-To: line] I called Electronic Arts yesterday and they told me that the Commissioner's Disk will be released for the Amiga at the end of April. For those who have Earl Weaver Baseball but dno't know what this disk is, here goes: The commisioner's disk will allow you to create real custom parks like the ones found on the EWB disk. It will allow you to choose the player's race. It will track some stats that the game doesn't (don't ask me how, I'm just saying what the phone-droid told me). Best of all, it will: 1) Make a schedule. That's what they told me. What I fervently hope is that it will play the schedule automaticcaly, you you don't have to get each game started manually. 2) YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE INDIVIDUAL TEAMS DAYS OFF. That finally removes the barrier prevenbting us EWB fans from simulating the actual major league schedule. Once I get that disk, I'll track the majors from start to finish, and I'll manage the Red Sox while I'm at it. Again, this is all what some random EA phone-droid told me. Don't flame me if it's not accurate - tell them to give their droids processor upgrades. I must admit I truly enjoy playing Earl Weaver Baseball at home with friends. I read in a games magazine ( I cannot recall which one) that EA has released version 1.5 . Has anyone seen the "newly released" game anywhere ? I asked Comspec here in Toronto and they heard nothing about any new version.
