I know what you mean, but I can't resist pointing out that the word
"factoid", coined in recent years, is often defined as a "false fact",
as opposed to a "true fact".

There's a good direction to head in...you could call non-preemptive
multitasking "multitaskoiding"! :-)

Or "psuedo-multi-taskoiding"?
