I would like to know if you can leave the ship without getting the 5
items? If you can't I would like to know what color the background is

The exit is a small ship located in the very bottom of the maze. the entrance to the ship looks like a different elevator. Once you are inside the ship (it has 6 screens), you have to go to the left to insert the romboideal item in the keyhole of the ship. I'd recommend you to draw a map as you discover new screens, because there are more than 100!. and SAVE the game as soon as you get to a new "refuel" station. The map will also help you in your way back when you get the last item (the key to the small ship). You will have to work a while in order to finish the game, but...
