Can someone please email to me instructions/details/comments/etc. concerning the various internal hacks which have been tried on the A1000 to reduce noise on the expansion bus. I have heard of grounding the pal chips, grounding the 68000, replacing the 68000, etc. I would like some details on how to do these things. I have built the squeeze ram memory addition so I do have some ability with a soldering iron. I would like to try some of these methods because I have a microbotics scsi module and a seagate st277n which I cannot get to do a low-level format. Frequently I end up with a dma memory access error when trying to low-level formatting and I suspect the expansion bus is too noisy. Thanks in advance. --- Jim Cote
