The agenda is in final approval, so a schedule of individual sessions will be available by the end of the week. Below are the daily starting and ending times. Wednesday, 6/14/89 Session: Quick Start for Programmers Noon-8 p.m. Session: A500/A2000 Peripheral Design 3 p.m.-5 p.m. Registration Desk will be open 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2 p.m.-8 p.m. Margarita's Night, hosted by Commodore International 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Thursday, 6/15 Registration Desk opens at 7:45 a.m. Sessions begin at 9:00 a.m., and run until 6:30 p.m. Lunch break will be 12:15-1:45 p.m. Disc Co./Antic Publishing Party at the San Francisco Exploratorium begins immediately following the end of sessions (6:30 p.m.) Friday, 6/16 Sessions begin at 9 a.m. and run until 5:30 p.m. Lunch break will be 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. "Beyond 1.4" starts at 5:45 p.m. For those of you who didn't attend last year's conference, "Beyond 1.4" is where you, the developer, get to express your opinions and concerns on the future direction of Amiga. It's an open forum for all non-Commodore employees or contractors. AmigaWorld/AmiExpo party immediately follows "Beyond 1.4" and is being held in the GoldRush Room at the Holiday Inn. UseNet Get-Together will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. Room to be anounced. Saturday, 6/17 Sessions begin at 9 a.m., and end at 1:30 p.m. Beach Party, hosted by Commodore International, will begin at 2 p.m. on the Pool Deck of the Holiday Inn. Prizes will be awarded for the best beach outfits. A couple of other items of interest: We'll have the following available for sale (prices to be announced at the conference): Rom Kernal Manual, Volume I 1MG Agnus chips 1.3 Kickstart ROMS the usual assortment of CATS technical materials There will be two advertising clinics, both run by Julie Bauer, Director of Marketing Services for CBM-USA. Bring any advertising or promotional materials you are presently using, for an open discussion on effective design and layout. We'll be setting up a Compatability Lab, equipped with a full range of Amiga products. If you want to be sure your product is fully compatible, bring a sample along. Just as last year, the Computer Room will be open for all-night hacking.
