Postscript is great, but quite expensive. However, there are Apples Laserwriters which are true Postscript Laserprinters at quite a good price. Is it possible to connect such a Laserwriter to the Amiga? Does it require a special interface or has it just a normal parallel port? What are the dark sides of such a low price? -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chris Brand Berne, Switzerland Wizard BANG: ...!uunet!mcvax!cernvax!impch!accsys!sosaria!wizard OR: ...!uunet!acad!acadch!impch!accsys!sosaria!wizard "Justice is the possession and doing of what one is entitled to" - Platon ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Standard Apple Laserwriters come with a straight serial port - just send down the appropriate postscript commands (at either 1200 or 9600 baud). No special hardware is needed, except for a serial cable. Of course, you'll need something that stuffs Postscript down the serial port, but that should be easy.
