Net-Landers.... Well that great day arrived today and the UPS man brought me my brand new GVP HardCard with Quantum 11ms hard disk. But when i attempted to boot of the supplied floppy to do the low level format, i was greeted by the three familial 'GRONK' sounds and the can't read the disk requester. Being a little resourceful, I booted off my regular boot disk and discovered that the startup-sequence file was un-readable, as was the sformat program in the GVPscripts directory. I also tried a diskcopy and a diskdoctor, but the diskcopy failed to read sectors 77, 78 and 79. So if anyone out there would be kind enough to e-mail me a copy of there GVP install software so I could have some fun with my new hard disk this weekend, I would be eternally gratefull. As a minimum, I think i will need sformat, startup-sequence and scsi.device. (I could not find scsi.device in devs, but i think that it should have been there) aTdHvAaNnKcSe USENET: ucbvax!ucdavis!csusac!unify!jxf
