Well, I was having a bit of trouble mounting my SyQuest 555 (44 Meg removable media harddrive) with my C-Ltd controller after I upgraded to a FATTER Agnus. Boy, do I feel stupid. You see, my MountList still had BufMemType=5, and I only have a megabyte of RAM which is all CHIP now. I was unable to mount VD0: or any of my harddisk partitions because Mount was asked to allocate a type of memory I didn't have! So I changed my MountList for BufMemType=1, which asks for any PUBLIC memory. Works like a charm. The Fat Lady is Singing beautifully now! Hint for do-it-yourselfers: If you choose to install the FATTER Agnus yourself and you don't have the special extraction tool, just remove the main circuit board from the bottom of the 2000, remove the hex-screws from the mouse connectors and pull the RF-shield away from the bottom of the main circuit board. This will give you access to two holes below Agnus. Just push 'er out! Do NOT attempt to _PULL_ out Agnus without the proper tool. There is a jumper you need to change, and a trace you need to cut, but I assume you can get that info with your purchase of the FATTER Agnus 8372 IC (PN#318069-02).
