I can't seem to get my Amiga to print properly on my HP Laserjet series II. I'm using the graphicdump on 1.3, of course I have the printer selected, but it prints extremely dark. Not much gray shading, etc... I adjusted just about everything, but it still won't print out very well. (I'm dumping an IFF picture viewed with SuperViewII) I thought maybe somebody could tell me how they have their prefs set inorder to print out right, or maybe somebody has a good utility that prints on the HP? I would appreciate any help at all. ALSO: Has anyone played 'Alien fires: 2199'? It looks pretty neat and I would be interested in hereing from somebody that has played it. Thanks!!! -Andrew -- Andrew Gillham | andrew%aucis.uucp@mailgw.cc.umich.edu or Andrews University | sharkey!aucis!andrew or uunet!zds-ux!aucis!andrew Signature? Who said I could write?

I use ShowPrintII to dump out IFF pictures. It's a small PD program that uses Preferences to print (but lets you set a few options like landscape, color etc.). One other thing I found is to set preferences (I think) and ShowPrintII to print color and not b/w or gray scale. The latter two look like $%^&*. I get great looking output on mine. I am always bringing DigiView pictures into work and amazing people. (one more note: for great text output get PageStream!!!!!) +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | -Al Harrington /// "The next thing I say to you will | | /// be true. | | alh@hprmo.HP.COM \\\/// The last thing I said was false." | | ..{hplabs,hp-sde}!hprmo!alh \XX/ -Devo | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | My comments in no way reflect the views or opinions of HP | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
