First a couple statements about this subject. One I don't know if this has already been fully discussed, if it has please respond just to me. Secondly I had not noticed the problem to be stated earlier becaues I never use WB. Last night I was attempting to use the WB in order to teach my wife. So these are basically the steps I followd. I issued the LoadWB command, and got normal results. I then shrunk my CLI windows to the smallest size. Then I proceded to try and use the WB. When I double clicked on the disk icon it changed to indicate that it had been selected and that was all. I experimented with the problem and came to a slight "solution." If I popped the diskete out and the re-inserted it the system would then open the selected icon. I next tried to double clicking on the icon again (after I colsed it) and same results, I then pressed the menu buttom on the mouse and the system froze up. Same "solution" worked and the same results. I tried to single click on the icon and then select open from the WB menu and it would just sit there. Again same "solution" worked. I then fumbled around and found an unformated disk copied the original 1.3 disk over and warm booted the machine. All the ways mentioned were tried againd and the same old solution worked. So next I cold booted the machine and the same tests and same results. I booted up (cold) on the ancient 1.0 and it worked fine. I then tried the 1.1 and found out that my 1.1 WB is not any good. Tried it out under 1.2 and got good results. Does anybody have any clues as to what is going on? Why I can not operate my system under 1.3 WB? For what it matters I issued the version command and got that I was using KS 34.5 and WB 33.47. Other configurations consists of A1000 w/ 512K, one external disk drive, printer, modem and monitor. Any help would be appreciated? Thanks Brian
