Hi: I was wondering if anyone out there has an Amiga 1000 hooked up to an ImagewriterII. I have such a combination, but the Imagewriter is very balky about printing anything. It gets very disturbed when I try to print files from within the word processor program I use (Excellencs by MSS). My configuration is an Amiga 1000 w/ 1.5 Meg. I have arp 1.3 installed. My serial line is set for 9600 baud, 1 stop bit, with no parity, XON/XOFF flow control, I have installed the Imagewriter II printer driver that came with WB1.3, and I have the (supposedly) correct cable from Redmond Cables. The actual symptoms are that, when using the printfiles command, the printer either prints one or two characters and hangs. Or, from within the word processor once the print option is selected it prints out until it gets to the middle of a page (not necessarily at any special format charcter) and then starts spewing out pages of paper, with one line to a page. Does anyone have any ideas about what the problem might be? Thanks for any help. / uucp: fox@bek-mc.caltech.edu or jf@bek-vax.caltech.edu / bitnet: jfox%caltech.bitnet or jmfox%caltech.bitnet / USmail:J.
