But as I said, it depends on the drive you use. The 2090a with the miserable ST506 seagate-drive comes up to about 230 K/s, while exactly the same controller with a MicroBotics Hardframe can give you nearly 800 K/s. Yes, it's true that it's only for the A2000. But I think that anybody who wants to work with his computer a littlebit professional (and thus requires a hard disk) would better buy a 2000 anyway.
