Well, dip me in sh*t and roll me in corn flakes, Music-X is shipping! Unfortunately, I have no prayer of finding the darned thing in a store where I could try it out, and I hate to buy stuff sight-unseen. So, if anyone out there has got it, I would like to know the following: * Is it reasonably bug-free? I don't want to be a beta-tester. * Does it run OK in 1 Meg (I can't imagine it wouldn't, but hey) * Overall impressions: is it worth buying sight-unseen? Any input appreciated. (BTW, I have heard that it's *not* copy protected!!!!) /.- -- .. --. .- .-. ..- .-.. . ... .- -- .. --. .- .-. ..- .-.. . ...\ / Neil Weinstock | att!cord!nsw | "One man's garbage is another \ \ AT&T Bell Labs | nsw@cord.att.com | man's prune danish." - Harv Laser / \.- -- .. --. .- .-. ..- .-.. . ... .- -- .. --. .- .-. ..- .-.. . .../

Yes, indeed, I saw Music-X at Creative Computers in LA a couple of days ago. It was up and running, and they had a bunch of copies for sale. I think the price was $195. I only had a quick glance at it, so I can't respond to the technical questions. The graphic editing screen looked very nice. The program seemed quick and responsive. They were not having any problems with it while I was in the store. They had it taking notes from a keyboard. It recorded and played back just the way you would expect. So the new champ of delays (I think this really does beat Live!) is finally here... Ned Schultz nschultz@polyslo.calpoly.edu
