I really want to thank everyone who responded either in email or by the net to the request for information. I have recievd mainly from the eastern and western regions so far and therre is about 60 % response from northern California. The rest are from the easter seaboard and a few from the midwest. I still need to here from the southern regions a little more so lets hear from you guys. not go unnoticed... and now some more naive ones generated by answers found

Ok so to run UNIX on my 2500... I need to buy UNIX...fine...from who???and
what would be a retail/dealer/whatever price??? Also would it be sys5 or
BSD???
Also...what is the best (read easiest)...book/magazine/guide to enable me to
find out what things like ARexx...and Fred Fish disks are...? Remember...you
are dealing with a dude who has never touched ANYTHING by Commodore before...
just Apple, IBM (sigh), Tandy...etc...
