Thanks to all who replied to my previous naive questions...now here are
a few more ultra-naive ones to vex the gurus...
p.s. I have decided to get a 2500 system and am presently awaiting
delivery.
1) What do I need above and beyond my 2500 system to run UNIX???
2) What is the easiest (read cheapest :-)) way to digitise video
images from a VCR or a video camera..and then to output them to
a videotape???
3) What is a decent telecomm. program that has great VT100 emulation???
4) Wrt. printers, is the Amiga like a Mac (ie. one printer driver per
printer...works in ALL programs)...or is it like a PC (ie. different
drivers for each program) ?

The easiest way to get them IN is the Progresive Peripherials FRAME GRABBER. (approx $500) -- digitizes IN HAM MODE 320x400 video. Real time. The amiga is like the (gasp choke chuckle) mac.
