Ignore the PS on my previous message. I thought that swapping the 8520's had made the problem go away, but this morning the clock was 12 minutes fast. That's 12 minutes gained in 10 hours. The amount of time picked up seems to be pretty random. Maybe I SHOULD be looking for a virus or whacked out program? Though both VirusX 3.20 and KV 1.0 report no problems. What about SetCPU 1.5 and FastROM? I've noticed that the FastROM option makes my marginal df1: unusable on many disks. This IS a problem with my drive, it's just that FastROM makes it worse. Perhaps FastROM is interacting with something else in my system? What though? I've got a pretty long list! SetPatch, GOMF 3.0, Dmouse, ScreenDimmer, FF, Conman, Wshell, Facc II, BlitzDisk 2, Patch2090, VirusX, Arexx, Browser, a couple of clocks, and MemPri. Sheesh, where to start? Though it just occured to me that MemPri and SetCPU 1.5 were added at about the same time. I'm using MemPri to make Facc II and BlitzDisk 2 take their buffers from 16 bit RAM instead of the A2620's RAM. Again, any help will be more than welcome. -- -- Blaine Gardner @ worsel UUCP: uunet!iconsys!caeco!i-core!worsel!blaine "Nobody will ever need more than 64K." utah-cs!caeco!i-core!worsel!blaine "Nobody needs multitasking on a PC."
