Lately my 1084 monitor has been 'sparking' (Static sound from inside plus screen fadeing) more and more often. I thought I had heard something about a grounding problem in some of the Amiga monitors, is this so? and if yes, is the 1084 one of them? Slapping the side discharges the buildup, and the screen returns to 'normal' but I'd rather get the thing fixed. I had the same problem (same symptom) with my 1902A on my 128, same thing? I got that fixed, but it wasn't cheap, any repair plan going on with Commodore? Even if it's free, I don't look forward to being monitorless for a week or two. David Maxwell
