I'm currently looking at several brands of 9600 baud modems on the market, notably the US Robotics HST(?) and the newer MultiTech MultiModem. Is there anyone with either one of these modems (or any other 9600 baud modem) that would recommend a particular brand? Also, if anyone has any "horror stories" concerning using 9600 baud modems for long-distance "BBS hopping", I'd like to hear about it.
